Invisible Pieces: Women in Chess

Well, women have MORE access to chess-related resources than men. So if we are going to go for equality, these should be removed too.
I've seen some peope trying to justify these but there is no justification. It is allocating more resources for a specific group, which is, by definition, sexist.This is a picture of racism in restrooms:

These two pictures are same. Discrimination.
When it comes to the social issues that may make it harder for a particular group of people, yes, that's an issue. Yes, we should fix this. I'll do my part on that by treating female chess players same as male ones.

Some „explanations“ rather affirm than contradict the thesis^^.

Why don't they keep women championships THAT IS UNFAIR FOR THEM

@Chessandtechreal
What do you mean by why don't they keep women championships? They already have a separate Chess Championship, though I advocate we do away with sperate leagues for men and women.

#301 The reason FIDE introduced titles back in the 50s was because of the dominant male world that just didn't allow women to take independent decisions and extreme hostility in chess clubs.
The validity in current times can be debated but it isn't the cause of concern because it allows for women to play professionally and earn money which wouldn't have been possible in the first place!

In time it must be phased out, but that isn't point of concern here. Before platitudes are thrown around to bring out the apparent differences in gender, which obviously exist, the issue is here is to be as humane as possible and ensure that playing conditions, hostility, ridicule and hygienic environments that mostly women faced in real-life tournaments were never addressed critically and discarded just because the majority of the contestants were men.

To use majority as a reason for not providing basic necessities has long been a statement to hide under, and unfortunately this happens even to this day, to a considerable extent.
The disparity here lies in the contrast of what men have to suffer and women do, and since the world is designed to suit the man's needs, why is it wrong if a section of the society point out the insufficiencies in such a system?

The onus is on the majority to create a conducive environment first, which would then encourage parents to have some hope that their child can safely travel to tournaments without fear. And starting early definitely helps in chess. Patriarchal societies tend to push their decisions onto their families in the name of religion, forcing children not to digress from tradition and this treatment has been known to be less intimidating towards boys as compared to girls.

Since this is another systemic problem that needs long term solutions, in the mean time the community can improve just by ensuring better safety and playing conditions which are only humane, and must exist irrespective of gender considerations.

Did Bobby Fischer really say women can't cook?!

That's shocking, seriously.
