Chess dudes that think that their rating means that they're a better human need to realize, that they have wasted their whole life playing a board game, and because of that, it's highly likely that you're completely under-prepared to be a decent human being. It's a sad affair. Regarding this more recent complaint, on one hand, everyone can misread the situation and mistake politeness for interest and even rejection for banter initially, but when you start insulting the other person because you finally realized that you'd been rejected, it's beyond excuse.
I don't know if it's excessive pressure, or health issues or just being an a-hole, but people who come to tournaments in any capacity should not be expected to deal with outbursts of this kind and to go there fearing what a certain player might do, so a suspension would not be unwarranted. From his side, Yoo needs to figure things out. If there are people putting pressure on him, they need to relieve it, if he needs to work through some health issues, then he should do it, and not just for the sake of his career, and otherwise he needs to clean up his act before being allowed into polite society again.
I am just more inclined to think about this as a troubled youth, he needs time off maybe a few years, but a complete lifeban or sth is too out of place.
