Can't create game with specific side any more

Excessive aborting will result in timeouts and then bans. That's an issue that will sort itself out very quickly

It is not very clever to ban black players, here are not a lot of them.

Is it just me or does this happen to others, too? My impression is, less rapid games are announced in the lobby.
Also, I get the impression I get a little bit more aborted games if I am getting white.
At my rating range there are a little bit less players available, though, not sure if the impact can be felt in the core rating range.

Its a pity,that"BeDecent for a change" didnt take part in one of my seminars about "logic" at the university of Munich: When someone offers white or black and I accept,than is that my free decion. This hurts noone. Its simply practicated freedom!!!

I think that many people no longer want to comment here; many are definitely put off. This is not ok.

Please don't let yourself be dissuaded from expressing your displeasure about the changes here.

This forum post gave hope that many opponents of the innovations would be spoken out here, but probably everyone who has spoken up so far has been corrected, instructed, thought to be wrong, distorted or possibly attacked. Yes, they are abusing a feature at the expense of others. That's being an abuser.

Wrong. You are auto-matched in the lobby. You still have the option to choose your color, but you can no longer force people to participate in games with uneven preferences. That is simply practicated freedom!!!

Nope. Banning is also done when people use an engine, or break other rules. It's simply a measure to ensure fair play. This is a huge L for the player base but that person enjoys it thoroughly because he thrives on chaos and trolling, hence his gaslighting username.

Lichess did a great thing, restricting abusive behaviour like this.
