Hans is not proving he is a 2700+ player. he's proving he's on the cusp of 2700, maybe he will improve. there are younger and more talented players coming up. that's what he is proving.
right now, once again, he is in the bottom half of the tournament.

Not sure if you know but there's literally no evidence of him cheating "on the way up" whatsoever.
He only confessed to cheating a couple of times in some online games on chess.com. These don't count towards OTB classical ranking points at all. Anyway wasn't sure if you were aware of that, so just thought I'd say...

Definitely. The worst thing is you still see people saying he'd only be 2600 without cheating. Even although since the Carlsen game, under incredible scrutiny and security, he's matched So, Aronian and Yangyi.
There's therefore literally no logic in the attacks, like you said just misplaced emotion.
