The abysmal cheat detection just keeps getting worse.

@BlingGamer

Nice!

I didn't do those things. Should've done them. I examined sharp moves, but I forgot to check ratings and didn't look to closely at time spent. I hope they release those positions for study one of these days.

Hehe, I'll remember your name, just in case I play against someone suspicious.

I hope you enjoyed the exercise as much as I did. It was quite fun even if I didn't do well. 4/7, as good as random picks.

That account was created 7 hours ago, you reported it 5 hours ago (and you were the first report) and it was banned an hour ago. I don't know, it seems efficient to me.

It seems to me that in your "career" you reported 9 accounts for cheating and of these, 5 are banned. Of the last 5 reports you sent, 4 of these ended up getting banned. Again it doesn't seem bad to me.

We constantly improve our anti-cheat systems and recruit new volunteer moderators to help us with the workload.

However, you're absolutely free and even welcome to critique us if you feel like it and I'm sorry that we weren't able to meet your expectations.

I don't think you should go around bragging over banning a super-obvious new account. I know one I am 100% sure cheats regularly and is still undetected, with an account he has since december 2021. In the report page I provided huge evidence he is the same person who got multiple accounts banned both on both Chess.com and lichess (he is a scammer who climbs ratings to sell lessons, very recognizable, he tells people his name and surname).

AI is a powerful tool, but expert cheaters understand how it works. Also, Irwin and Kaladin as far as I know are open-source, so one could also go looking how they work. You should add competent people's judgement to your fair play procedures, it would decrease both false negatives and false positives, which happen too. I was banned for cheating with my previous account without ever cheating, not even one game (for those wondering, moderators already know I'm the owner of that account).

aren't you the person who kept ranting about their extremely honest friend, that got wrongly marked for cheating? kind of surprising that the very same thing would happen to both you and your friend. either lichess has a very high false positive rate in their cheat detection, or the two of you got extremely unlucky.

My "friend" was obviously me. I thought I made it quite obvious, I even used quotation marks with the word "friend". Now I'm admitting it was me because moderators already know I'm that person. Before I told my "friend" story to leave some doubts so they couldn't recognize me from here.

i don't get it. you thought you were quite obvious with your quotation marks, but at the same time you thought it would be enough to fool the mods?

Not to fool, but to leave some doubts.

what for? you believe they might ban you if you said "me", but talking about your extremely honest friend using quotation marks – that leaves enough doubt for them to leave your account alone?

Stop it. If you're telling me it wasn't very, very, very obvious my friend was me, well, you aren't being honest.

well, yes. but that is why i have doubts about this whole "i did it so the mods would have doubts" angle. quite frankly, i am beginning to think you might not be all that honest, not as honest as you claimed your friend to be anyway.

If you believe I made it obvious on purpose I don't understand what's your point at all. Where I'm not being honest? I practically said the banned person was me in both messages, both the friend one and this one.
