These whiners on the forums are just a gang of people upset over their chess performance or holding any other silly grudge.
Lichess is interested in the best decisions possible, and they have a very skilled team for it, so both of these extreme ways of thinking are dead wrong.
I fully agree. Everybody here who whinges just seems to get unlucky with their opponents
I've played maybe 1 cheater my entire Lichess life so can you all quit complaining about what happens to you? None of us casuals want to hear the whinging from you so called 'competitive' players when lichess doesn't ban a player who allegedly cheated in like 5 minutes.
As the mod said at the beginning, lots of people do this on a volunteer basis. You peeve them off too much, they pull the plug, and then, no more Lichess to be frank.
So. Stop complaining on forums, approximately 0/100 people care.

So this is 1/100 people that cares and wonders why I come home make a cup of coffee , and sits down, hoping to play a good fair game of chess, but find that some guys know immediately what I'm trying to establish in the Opening Phase of the game, I mean like better than 2500 players, and when it gets to the Endgame they suddenly lose control over a game that was won like 10 moves earlier,
and then proceed to lose....
Well at least I beat some of those I consider to be sus..

The opening part doesn't really count (trying to reason, not fling more wood to the fire) because you never know, they might have just studied a line for it, or play the line their self. The 2500 part isn't too unreasonable at your rating, because apparently my openings are that of a 2250 against some random Dinosaur Defense I just learnt about.

If you really think you're a good cheat detector why not participate in this study?

I didn't do too well, cheat detection is hard.

@blinggamer wow! That's really impressive. I think that's statistically significant. Of course 7/7 is best, but 6/7 is really good.
No idea how? No systematic approach? Is it more like gut feel? C'mon, you must have some indicator that you can share with us.
When I took the survey, after a while, it felt like none of them were cheating. All my usual indicators of cheating didn't work.

It's always entertaining how much people overestimate their own ability to recognize cheaters.

@Molurus
I used to. Until this study brought me to reality. Now I'm more measured.

It was sorta gut feel, then looking at sharp points in games and connecting those moves with move times. then evaluating the finishing position compared to rating difference of opponent.
