All i'm saying is, in hearthstone they make it so when you hit play now you have to play the opponent it finds. They don't offer a rematch option & your goal is to climb the ladder. This removes a person who wins & acts all high & mighty like they're the best player ever & you will never beat them. If li chess implemented a way I could play like this i'd be happier. The fact play now can find an opponent I just played who also doesn't want to rematch, adds the option for a person to troll. If you did one of the following it would fix this.
A: make it anonymous easy done.
B: Make it play now with zero option to rematch & if you do hit play now & manage to get same opponent match must be played, an abort = win.
C: Add a best of 3, or a best of 5 option. I'm now talking about "options" so I can know I entered a best of 1 situation, rather than what i'm used to in real life which is "wanna play chess, sure, you win or lose, whatever rematch?"
I guess in real life nobody is so cruel as to go "i'm not playing with you anymore" that never happens. People even see like "oh okay how bout 1 more then I have to go, have plans"
But on the internet people search ways to troll. I even think the people who do this are more likely to be cheating.
But these are just my thoughts, atleast 1 person reasonably noticed yeah anonymous might be good. We can show rating but username discrimination is ridiculous.
On the flip side it's the height of arrogance to demand that you get the only say in a rematch. I only get asked for rematches when I win and it's so the player can "Gain" points back from me. Since I have a crap rating this happens every day to me. I used to accept rematches but if I lose the player instantly loses interest in playing with me again...So obviously they didn't want a best out of 3 they wanted a "get my points back" game. I see no reason to give that game anymore.
Woahh guys chill out if you want to show your essay skills go do it on your English paper not here! And plus it's rematch if you don't want to play than just leave! Why spend time watching the rematch button if you don't want to play?? Plus imo it is bad behavior of not accepting rematch! Relax man leave if you don't want to play or play!! This is lichess a site of fun and playable Chess!!

If I got annoyed because of something, I take a break and later come back and play another match but better even, Analyze the game, how to learn for it. Losing a game at lichess isn't the same at losing at a tournament, so when we play here we need to learn, we are here for that, well also to have fun!

I was in a game, I'm not sure if "descrimination" is the right word. But people are choosing who to play based on who have they have beaten. If a person wins they refuse to play again with the person they beat. So if you make it anonymouse you will no longer have this problem. Also best of 3 or best of 5 offers the ability to play a person more than once, so it's not really trolling if you have to win a certain amount of games, or play a match if you will. And even then the play now button should not prevent a person from playing if the user "aborts" the game based on username.
I really don't agree of not showing the games you played and the score, if you played 1 game with someone and won in 10 moves winning the queen in move 6 for example, I wouldn't play again, cause I want to play people better than me to learn or maybe equal to have an interesting game.
