Cheaters are not banned

I think the biggest part of cheaters is that they simply dont have an outlet. I think their main interest is computer chess and they cant afford a chessbase gui to go and play in the engine room at playchess. Say lichess made an engine vs engine arena....that could possibly reduce the amount of cheating in human games by a lot. Or maybe it wouldnt?

I (personally) have seen/played a few cheaters in the last few years, the most I've played against is lag cheaters. Obviously from my profile you can tell I play a lot of bullet the most frustrating and often frequent cheaters I play are lag cheaters who are abusing the lag compensation and going up time. But they are still rare, on chess.con every hourly bullet tournament I play is won by a day old account who is 300 rated XD. Lichess could maybe do a little better but I'm very happy with how they deal wit cheaters.

I really wish I could find the game lol. I once played a brand new account that was 3100 bullet in quick pairs and afterwards he played a hyper tournament and was ban half way through, I thought the whole experience was hilarious

Not sure if you were paying attention to what i was saying. Ill reiterate a bit. The engine users we encounter here mostly do not have an outlet. Have you ever played at yahoo chess before its final days? The most terrible place there ever was to try and play chess imo. I would see cheaters there openly talking about how and where they would pirate the latest engines and like i was saying about them not having an outlet they chose that site to look for engine vs engine. My point is that if they had a free platform that was widely known to do what they do risk free that could reduce the amount of cheating that happens possibly. And at the very least if this site had them an engine arena we could at the very least identify the type of people that are into that here

Its almost unbelievable you amount of talk about cheating.
Cheating(if it exist) happens for 1 reason (mainly) everyone talks about it it is made the cheaters feel really good and important
Remember if you would like something to go away don't reward it by talking about it.
Video games cheating what gives.

As a if side note if you can't convert a material or space advantage don't ask for resignation and if that doesn't work say cheating?
