@FC-in-the-UK No, simuls are just a lot of games switching after a move, thats why you can play multiple games at once.

Alright. And what about adding a link on the main page that would just redirect to something like bughousetest.com?
...
That would split the games onto 2 sites, plus bughouse was just a test, not a full release.
bughousetest is broken for me. Does anyone know if a working version is being hosted anywhere?
@mrcoolguy47 it was a test, thats why its not up
hello
Unfortunately, to my understanding, lichess isn't interested in adding 4 player chess (or other variants, actually). I believe because of server space and the large amount of coding involved. I am not a coder, but I wonder if lichess would accept four player chess, or bughouse for that matter, if someone offered to code it? Like you, I would love to see four player chess on here, but I don't think that will happen for a while.

a 4 player would help lichess popularity by a lot
Four player chess is also here: https://greenchess.net/variants.php?cat=9 There are a number of variants one can play.
I would love to see Lichess have more variants (such as fairy pieces variants, like 10x8 Capablanca Chess games and 10x10 Grand Chess games), but I also acknowledge they would be non-trivial to add to the code base. Than again https://lidraughts.org/ (based on the Lichess code base) does have 8x8 and 10x10 games, so it could be done given the right programmer willing to work for free.
