Would there be any appetite for Lichess to add 4 player chess to the games offered? It's literally the only reason I go to chess.com these days, and would personally love to see it here instead.

Unfortunately, to my understanding, lichess isn't interested in adding 4 player chess (or other variants, actually). I believe because of server space and the large amount of coding involved. I am not a coder, but I wonder if lichess would accept four player chess, or bughouse for that matter, if someone offered to code it? Like you, I would love to see four player chess on here, but I don't think that will happen for a while.

I, personally, would love to see 4-player chess added to lichess.org. :D
If it's an issue of server space, just delete three-check and king of the hill and replace them with bughouse.
And the code probably somehow already exists since at some point there was this fork of lichess called bughousetest.com that was devoted to bughouse.
