When I was playing in a Fide Tournament,in the last round I was winning a whole queen but i had time pressure all the time so i blundered my queen and lost the game.I was depressed and sad.I not only lost a game but i also lost more money and 30 fide rating points. So from this day,I will try to stop getting time pressure.
And my opponent ask me what happend I told him i had time pressure and he adviced me to play some biltz to train how to not time out.Still hurts my heart:(
I know the feeling in chess for sure. Also had the same feeling when playing football as a borderline starter. When I was on first string, I worried all the time about losing my position over one mistake because the guy who played first string ahead of me only made one mistake. When I was eventually demoted back to second string, I played freer, without fear, and much better.
Четко описывает ситуации со мною. Спасибо за статью

Re: playing rated tournament games against children -- you can't win! If you win the game, you're a bully; if you lose then you just lost... to a kid! Yes, I've experienced both of these. // Thanks for this excellent post. I read every word and will try my best to get the game of chess into a good perspective, be a good sport etc. Thanks again!
It's the Danish youth championship, I'm in a great position in the table 2.5 out of 3 with 4 rounds remaining, if I win, I'm at the top of the table, if I lose, well... My opponent is my good friend and I am in a completely in winning position four pawns up. But I blunder my rook thinking it was checkmate on the next move. I was heartbroken about my lose, I did not want to play chess any more and here I am telling this story to you.
