but i agree a bit with michuk. to be a black grandmaster, your required rating is much lower. so FIDE is saying that black people are less inteligent, so they lowered he standards.

Please stop using the victim card when things don't go your way. I have many issues with my failures in life, but I can't play any cards. I have to remain "privileged" even with the insane life I endured for 50 years.
I never saw racism in the 20+ years I played in the NYC chess scene. I have seen plenty of strong black, white, Hispanic and Asian players. I have also seen the same type of people suck at chess. Myself included.
I have only recently broke the 2000 online rating barrier after 37 years of chess playing.
Emory Tate, GM Maurice Ashley are 2 strong black chess players that come to mind. Wasn't Anand a non-white person?

I have seen strong master level chess hustlers in Washington Square Park, of all kinds if ethnicity. Women face discrimination in chess, but they can always claim victim status and get preferred treatment.

Why can't people just gain notoriety and success through merit anymore? Why do they wine and point fingers when life won't give them everything they desire?

Historically, most Grandmasters have been Jewish Eastern European men, too. By your logic, anyone who is not a Jewish Eastern European Male is being disicriminated against as well.

@clousems I suggest you re-read what I wrote since you are barking up the wrong tree. I'm not suggesting that there being preponderance of white grandmasters is a problem, I'm saying the environment of chess I live in toxic because I'm not white. You don't have to believe what I'm saying or validate it that is not what I'm asking from you. I don't want anything from you. Relax.
