Which side are you on? 76% of Americans approved of President Trump's new speech

Ofc give me a break with Free Speech. Magiots do not mind if gov websites were shut down to implement censorship. The same crazy wacks that were for protecting privacy at all cost are now agreeing that their personal data is shared with AI firms hoping that they will handle it correctly now that they own the Data.

It was a good speech imo. Dems were rather amusing with their silly little signs. Hope Al Green had a nice little walk. Couldn't believe they didn't applaud our newest secret service officer ( yes I know everything was choreographed). I do admire the few dems who had the courage to actually respond positively to a positive statement.

I would say, fairly and without political bias, most of the courses looks practical. Dems may not agree on them, but they can't deny these are solid practical moves towards peace and prosperity.

Yes, Daniel's story was choreographed, reminding me of the old wise politic shows of Reagan or Richard Nixon. But his story would have been a good chance to inspire unity under the same dream. Shame for those (few) Dems who showed their indifference.

It wasn't as bad as I expected. I thought he might threaten to bomb Norway unless they give him a Nobel Peace Prize.

I Think that DonaTrump is a threat to the North American democracy, and to word security, because his political is war- oriented and It is dangerous for everyone in the world. He is a threat of enviromental issues. In General he is a good economist and your speech fuels hatred and discrimination within the United States, exactly what Americans who think they are the best in the world want to hear. But the world is already suffering from the effects of the severe climate changes that are occurring, recently in Florida, even, for a power like the United States, the president to say that a single country has nothing to do with climate change, even though they are the second country that emits the most carbon dioxide. The attack on the Capitol in 2021 by his supporters went unpunished. Here in Brazil, something similar would make Trump ineligible. In the United States, he is acclaimed and receives privileges of having all the processes of the time suspended.

I never watch Trump live.

I wanna see the news later and listen to the diagnosis of the Psychiatrics to find out the takeaways.

This CBS News survey is based on 1,207 interviews of adults who watched the President's address to Congress on Tuesday night.

If you're not in the Select\Elite\Premier Club who viewed you're by default on the side of Trump. Lol

Thanks for listing all the resounding appraisals by asskissers like Kristi Noem or Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz is the guy, who took off with his family for vacation in Mexico, while Texas suffered from a complete, covid related
lockdown in April 2020.

Ted Cruz is the guy, who cashed in a "bonus" of $ 300.000 from the NRA in 2018 or so, to keep up the free sale of semi
automatic machine guns like the AR 15 for everybody without serious background check.

Ted Cruz is the guy, who posted a selfe, grilling hot dogs on the barrel of an AR 15, while there was at the same time
an outrage after the Uvalde, TX, school shooting (19 kids, 2 adults killed) and an uprise of demands for strict gun laws.

On the other hand:
Ted Cruz attacked Trump badly in 2016, as well as McConnel did, McCarthy, Graham (the "office cleanser"), Rubio and so many
other republican politicians.., in reverse Trump fired back assaulting their families, wifes, kids... in disgusting manners.
They all changed their mind about Trump in bloodcurdling ways after they could smell the taste of money and power under the wings of Trump's corruption. And they started pilgrimaging to the "Fuehrer in Mar a Lago.

All the MAGA puppies should know it, but don't talk about it. They know why.
There's so much shit going on, I can't keep up with countering that stuff here and elsewhere.

It's fun to watch surveys get supported one day and testily dismissed the next.

By the way, no survey determines what "everybody" believes unless "everybody" is surveyed or unless the surveyed belief is genuinely unanimous. That's true, but not particularly important.

A survey is an experimental sample. If "everyone" is surveyed (or at least that's attempted) I believe they call it a "census."

In any event, the speech was better received by the average person, I suspect, than any attempt to "stay seated" even while charming kids or brave men or women were honored by President Trump.

But what do I know. I wasn't even holding up a sign during the speech. I was just listening. And, frankly, I thought the speech was among his best. And I truly don't understand why anyone would "stay seated" while brave kids, men or women are being honored, even if the person doing or announcing the honoring was a political adversary.

Of course, for those who didn't actually watch the speech, but are only going to listen to soundbites selected by commentators they agree with, they might not realize even to what I am referring. It's less likely to be shown to them, since few, I believe, thought it was a "good look."

Yet another reason to look to a genuine diversity of news sources, and to watch some speeches and events live, and unfiltered, if we can.

By the way, I truly don't think Denmark is in any danger of invasion by America. Truly, I don't. For those who do, I hope you find comfort.
