"Covid-19 was biological weapon created by china"

@Harsh1234qwerty Yes, and they're allowed to do that. However, blocking social media is generally condemmed because social media tries to keep free speech (and the blocking of free speech results in bans from social media), so blocking it is clearly seeming to be against free speech. And it is.

Well it was a clear violation of the constituition and the Supreme Court in 2017 told the incapable Govt that but now the Govt with their power just forced it upon the Social media giants rn.

@Mahith1708 #30 You can't assume that. What you're doing, talking about the Chinese government is, again, a speculation.

The lichess forums really need some heavy-handed moderation. Why are these garbage threads even allowed? This is just sad.

@AkashPisharody #34 Exactly. And this is why I'm against threads like these that involve politics. Even if there are "friendly politics" threads (and there was a few), it will devolve into chaos (and it did). The lichess supporting BLM thread? Devolved into chaos the moment a bunch of fools got politics in.

Yes , They are spaces for people to voice their opinions . Although these services have recently started to increase the enforcing of their rules over them .Social media companies have too much power and influence in politics which recent incidents are proof of .
All of this has led to the question of whether these services have too much power and Court agreed

If you're are choosing to believe in things that lack evidence, then you're just blindfoding and brainwashing yourself. Truly an uno reverse card.

@Harsh1234qwerty #38 And what if they have influence in power and politics? People must have influence in power and politics and social media is a way of expression. Democracy, again.
btw social media rules have remained pretty much the same for a while now: keep the correct information going, but allow people to express what they want as long as they don't make a temper tantrum.
