@MarkusNemetz that's not empty assumption.
On bullet, I've almost never met cheaters, must be something near 1 of 1000 games.
On blitz, sometimes, but still very rare, probably 1 of every 100 games.
On classic, you can check it out, of 120 games around 20 are confirmed cheaters (!) and another 20 are closed accounts, and some of them definitely were these players.
So it's completely fair to propagate this to correspondence.

Anyone with accredited chess playing skills is apt to have that perfect game every so often. I am not alarmed until I see multiple triple 0 contests.

The reason I decided to make my chess debut in correspondence chess rather than a faster time control was because I am mostly interested in REAL chess and not just for fun style. I imagine (and i'm probably right) that different formats emphasize different skills and I want to outchess my opponent at their absolute best while at my own absolute best. More chess, less time management and of course the highest prestige in the most meaningful and competitive sphere of all of chess. You don't get 3200 + ratings in correspondence like you do in the lesser and less critical formats. Chess is measured by how long it takes to play. Bullet is taken less seriously than blitz than rapid than classical, if OTB tournaments are anything to go by. That's why, as I understand it, the fast formats are just tiebreakers. By that logic, Correspondence is one notch over classical in the meaningful department. I'm a very smart person, not to brag, that's just how it is. I want to either become so high rated that beating the number 2 in the best format gives me + and - 0 rating OR earn a fair play flag / ban with my own brain instead of assistance. Whichever I achieve first. The way I see it, if my IQ is too high to be measured by standard or specialized MENSA tests, across the board, then my chess rating could potentially be too high to be measured too. If my raw specs are such an extreme outlier, my performance will be too. It is the case in other things, now for chess too I see no reason otherwise...

i haven't played nearly as much as many... i've never knowingly encountered a cheater --- jerks, yes, esp lately. i GUESS if i encountered a cheater (and the only way i could tell was if their play was alarmingly accurate, and verified by some computer) idk how i'd feel. i really don't know if i'd feel angry or anything. if it happened in an otb tournament, with prizes on the line, then, yeah, draw and quarter him, head on a pike, the usual.... if there's as many as guys say - i guess that would be a pita, and i'd be angry.
so far, just jerks.

People as I see so far are nice and very reasonable, except for one jerk who's account was immediately closed only a few moments after he originally embarrassed himself.

My blitz rating goes down to low 1900 and up to low 2200... My cc rating has gone over 2200 and stayed there but I think it is only because it is definitely a smaller pool of players. Also takes longer to finish games.

@squarehopper why does it take longer to finish blitz games on cc? Are you using a different time control in the same format?
