@Mate_On_f7 how do you know? I wouldn't be surprised if OP soon displays a cheater tag on his profile, given his loose morals on this subject.

@or_else I assumed. it is more likely, but it is still possible that OP really believes that cheating is okay

Chess is a game, whoever is interested in studying it to get better is not a cheater.
If you have to work more because of your family status or the region you live in you just study it slower.
The first thing we have to take care of is our income so we can live, chess is a game and only some people
can live of it.

Time to philosophize.
There is a purity in chess that is not in cards. In cards, as in life, everyone is dealt a different hand. I chess, everyone is dealt the same hand. In cards, the cards are double sided, and the face of the card is hidden. In chess, nothing is hidden, everything is n the board.
Incredible, isn't it? Imagine a card game where the same cards are dealt, and the cards face up! It's unimaginable, but that is what chess is. Chess a philosophy I like: we are dealt the same hand. Think about it. We are all fundamentally equal. I grew up on a dirt floor house in Vietnam. We collect water from the rain off the roof into larger ceramic vessels. Just like something out of Little House on the Prarie. I made something of myself.
We are fundamentally equal. We have 10 fingers, 2 hands, 2 legs, 1 head, 2 eyes, etc . . .
Chess taught me that we are given an equal number of pieces and how far we get ahead is up to us. There is no cheating because everything is seen on the board.
Compare chess to cards. Cards is great. Chess is great too. I believe life is more like chess. You are given the same hand, how far you go is up to you.
Jackie Chan grew up basically a slave in an opera company. His son has everything.

to cheat : to behave in a dishonest way in order to get what you want:
to cheat : to behave in a dishonest way in order to get what you want:
First, Chess is a game. You can opt not to play it. It isn't very rewarding in monetary terms anyway. You could put that time in academia, or business and get tons more.
The real sickness is not in watching lottery winners win. It is in delighting in cheaters.
In life or death, it may be acceptable. In sport, no.
I think professional sport is neither professional nor a sport, but what do I know.

Life's not fair, so it's okay to cheat. Good. I don't have much money, and I have no ability to earn much. Now I know it's okay if I rob people.

The thing about all three of your examples of "cheating" is that the person doing these things dedicate a large amount of time doing that, whereas some random guy with an engine did not. There is nothing unfair about doing any of these things.
The reason "chess should be fair" is to ensure that the game is fun for everybody. If nothing was done to ban cheaters than everyone would just use engines and honest players would quit, and no one would be having fun with the game.
Considering the fact that you're going to be rated against players of the same elo, there is no advantage to be had from either side, thus the game is already completely fair.
Your argument is basically: "I'm short and scrawny. Time to go around shooting all muscle men I see, I shouldn't be jailed as I haven't done anything wrong".
Honestly you must have the biggest inferiority complex of anyone I've seen on the internet. You think that people who are better than you are obligated to give you what you want on a silver platter.
