Both Giri and Srinath recommend a setup with Nc6, g6, Bg7, e6, Nge7, O-O, and b6 in their Chessable courses. I'm not very familiar with the ideas here, but you can explore games in the database. Seems to be equal but not very well scoring for black in master games. In Lichess games it seems to have quite equal score.
Don't know how to attach an analysis board here or if it's even possible, but here's the PGN:
- e4 c5 2. c4 Nc6 3. Nc3 g6 4. g3 Bg7 5. Bg2 e6 6. Nge2 Nge7 7. O-O O-O 8. d3 b6 9. Be3

Black plays ...Nc6, ...e6, ...Nf6 and ...d7-d5 and is just fine. Even the pawn sac after g3/Bg2 is strong. Black has always ...Nb4y

After e4 c5 c4, the masters database says Nc6 rather than D6
