All the land west of the Jordan already belongs to Israel. It can't thief it from itself.
So there are no more reasons to ban Israel flag than any other country.

I think this is a moot point anyway given their current list of players.
I just wanted to point out that the analogy was completely upside down. We don't stand with the weak, we stand the victims.
Palestine (you might say their bad leadership, but that's beyond the point) has done everything to increase civilian losses and keep the military actions going.
Palestine was the aggressor and could stop the war at any time, just like Russia.
Ukraine and Israel are defending. The fact that Israel is much better equipped in that fight is irrelevant.

Per international law occupied territories (West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza, Golan) do not belong to Israel.
You could as well un-ban the Russian flag saying everything east of the Dnieper belongs to Russia.
Reasons for banning the Israeli flag could be the genocide in Gaza as attested by several independent international organisations and war crimes committed as per the indictment before the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
It is the same flag that flies on the tanks that shell women and children, schools and hospitals.

If they're banning the Israeli flag for this reason, then they should ban the Syrian flag too — after all, it was Syrian aggression against Israel that made them lose the Golan Heights. Then ban Egypt. Then ban Jordan. Then ban mostly all countries flags at the Middle East, and finally ban the Israel flag for daring to defend itself.

No, this analogy doesn't work because Russia is the aggressor.
Last year, Ukraine captured part of Russian territory in the Kursk region, but its flag wasn't banned because it defended itself.

First, Israel has never committed genocide.

As #15 points out, Israel is violating international law. Jewish West Bank settlers, supported by the IDF, who harass and disposess Arab natives of their privately owned land and homes are nothing more than racist thieves.

* Yes, in 1973 Egypt, Syria, Jordan and some other countries started the Yom Kippur War against Israel. Israel won that war with massive help of the United States and as a result occupied the Sinai, Gaza, the West Bank, East-Jerusalem, and the Golan. Israel gave the Sinai back to Egypt in exchange for the Egypt–Israel peace treaty. The rest remain occupied territories: per international law they are not part of Israel.

No lmao, that's completely different. The Danya situation isn't political; it's a personal issue. Chess should not be political, and that's what FIDE is defying.
Israel should disavow their ethnic policies. Compensate what they've stolen and extend rights to the people they've been occupying for 60 years. Deconstruct the ethnostate and genocal policies that come with it. It wasn't okay when Hitler did it. It's not okay now. I'm fine with banning the Israeli flag until then.
