he was always mean to gukesh, i always feels like he is reluctant to cope with the fact that he no more the official world champion or something . not sure what his hate towards gukesh is for . anyway his fans also got that from him now

It was said Gukesh was really lucky and that he wasn't a good World Champion. Still, I agree with @CG314. Hate is to be expected, no matter if you're black, indian, caucassian, alien, cheese or a submarine.

i also saw those kind of comments, but the thing is mostly they are made by fans of magnus , so i don't really mind then .

"Gukesh was really lucky"
* How so? Gukesh lost the first game as white, but kept cool and won the match.

Besides, where is the racism when an Indian and a Chinese play?

Well, I'd say with a very very cheap win indeed in that final game.
And he hasn't exactly been tearing up the chess world since then...but of course he's very young (so presumably has plenty of time to grow into the role).

I've never heard someone be racist to Gukesh. Many people think he's not a "true" world champion because he doesn't exhibit quite the same dominance as Carlsen or Kasparov. But he won the games that give him the title fair and square so he's the official champion.

"cheap win indeed in that final game" * It was Ding who put his bishop in the corner. Otherwise it would gone to rapid tie breakers. Carlsen drew his classical matches against Karjakin and Caruana, but prevailed in rapid tie breakers.
"he hasn't exactly been tearing up the chess world since then" * It is a normal backlash after becoming World Champion. In my opinion Gukesh should not have played in tournaments where he had nothing to win.
The attitude of Carlsen towards Gukesh is not due to racism, but to being a sore loser. The same happened when Carlsen lost to Niemann, and he is as white as Carlsen himself.

"Many people think he's not a "true" world champion because he doesn't exhibit quite the same dominance as Carlsen or Kasparov." * Then Ding was no 'true' world champion either. Besides Nepomiachtchi could and should have won his match against Ding if his nerves did not get the better of him. Carlsen had an excellent tournament record, but only drew his classical matches against Karjakin and Caruana. Carlsen could have lost game 1 against Nepomniachtchi, if he could control his nerves.

Carlsen is on record that he treats everyone as idiots at chess, so calling Gukesh an idiot is normal for him.
I haven't seen racist comments against Gukesh. There are those who whine he's an unworthy world champion but he won the candidates and beat the defending champion - what more do you need? And that is actually one better than Karpov, Kramnik or Ding.
There are haters of the strong Indian performance in recent years but that's not specifically directed at Gukesh. They're just jealous and wish chess was as successful in their own country.
