Playing Anonymous

I am playing a few anonymous games when I want quick unrated games. Probably a bad idea. For some reason I get the Black pieces every time, a lot of times. And why do people add 15 seconds to my time once or more than once?

I add regularly 15 seconds to the opponents time so I can give checkmate. Too many players prefer to lose on time than be checkmated as that hurts emotionally less. I don't agree with such approach as that is disrespectful to the winner.

If players show me no respect then they also don't get my respect. I keep adding 15 seconds till they realize that even if they get 100 x more time than I, they will still lose and are a very bad loser and player.

So if you don't like to get extra 15 seconds regularly then resign properly when you are totally lost.

„Sometimes my opponents in a chess game manage to hurt my feelings so much so that I give them a massive time advantage and still win against them in order to prove to them what a terrible chess player they are“

is basically what you just wrote

Spoilsport much?

hurt my feelings
Spoilsport much?
Hurting my feelings no. I am way too old for still getting nervous about such things. There is a difference between hurted and not accepting it.

Oh spoilsport definitely. I do enjoy a lot to destroy the pleasure of those players never willing to resign. I am not ashamed about that and why would I with such players. There is nothing illegal in it by giving extra time.

It is not illegal but in my view you take it way too seriously („that hurts emotionally less“, „they will still lose and are a very bad loser and player“, „ destroy the pleasure of those players never willing to resign“).

After all, chess should be a game that is played because it is entertaining and fun (chess has no other value besides entertainment and fun), not a competition of two egos :)

You have a very interesting profile. No fiderating and such high online ratings. Also you have your own wikipedia-page at such young age which wonders me if you maybe wrote it yourself.

Wow. I'm speechless. So much hate in a "stupid game," because this is what it is. It's just a game, you're taking it on a whole new level.

I guess you are not playing classical fide competitions. I also see you are highly gifted (on your wikipedia) and intensively promoting developments of young people. Last but not least I am not the standard chessplayer. I have a popular chessblog running for more than a decade http://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/ so yes we clearly look very differently to chess.

I guess you have very little time and a lot of important things to do but I still recommend you to have a look at my blog. You will maybe realize that chess can be much more than just entertainment and fun.

So much hate
Oh no it is not hate. As I wrote it is some sadistic enjoyment. Yes it is not nice but at least I am honest. If you don't like it then ask lichess to remove the +15 second button. Also remember I do it when playing anonymously so not with this account.

You should look what is the definition for hate. But is that what chess is for you? An activity where you can inflict pain to other people and nothing more?
