You should look what is the definition for hate. But is that what chess is for you? An activity where you can inflict pain to other people and nothing more?
We are talking here about giving somebody extra 15 seconds regularly. If that inflicts pain then I guess life must be hell.
Are you woke?

I don't know if that inflicts pain, I'm pretty slow and could use some extra time, but you said your intention was to to destroy your opponent's pleasure, those are your words.

People were giving me +15 seconds when I was winning hands down and had plenty of time. When losing I try to find good defensive moves and this can run me short of time. I am not delaying for any other reason than trying to find a game saving move. Sometimes I time out just as I am trying to move but that's the hazard of being in time trouble. Before that time out I will have already made 5 or 10 quick moves in time trouble. It is clear I am not delaying just for the heck of it but trying to find that game saving move... which I rarely find BTW.

2 things here:
- In anonymous mode you can't chat so can't say that you give 15 extra seconds to destroy the opponents pleasure. This is a very important element in this discussion. I tell you here why I do but that is not during any game.
- Somebody feeling pain from getting extra 15 seconds can stop this pain any moment by resigning. Losing the game would've happened anyway already. I have 0 mercy for such people. I have my fun and play via the rules. The rest is not important to me.

I never give time to people whom are winning against me. In fact it very rarely happens I lose a game in anonymousmode. With my +2600 ratings I pretty much destroy all opponents and people rarely give me +15 seconds when I am winning. I guess maybe those losers do to distract you but that won't work against me.

You have a very interesting profile. No fiderating and such high online ratings. Also you have your own wikipedia-page at such young age which wonders me if you maybe wrote it yourself.
Yes, I have never played OTB chess except against friends. Maybe I should start doing that, could be interesting, but then chess would take up more time in my life than I want to, my main activity is being a mathematician, after all :) (Already I feel like online chess takes more time than I want it to sometimes!)
I am a „C list celebrity“ here in Switzerland since I did my final high school exams in mathematics at a fairly young age (9 years old). So that might explain why somebody decided to write a Wikipedia article on me. In its current form, the majority of the article is written by me, however, I was not the one who created it, instead I just corrected or completed the information found there (for reference, you can find the initial version here, created by an anonymous user Tonialsa: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Maximilian_Janisch&oldid=160138677, mind you that Wikipedia article histories are all public).

I guess you are not playing classical fide competitions. I also see you are highly gifted (on your wikipedia) and intensively promoting developments of young people. Last but not least I am not the standard chessplayer. I have a popular chessblog running for more than a decade http://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/ so yes we clearly look very differently to chess.
I guess you have very little time and a lot of important things to do but I still recommend you to have a look at my blog. You will maybe realize that chess can be much more than just entertainment and fun.
Thanks for linking your blog, I might have a look! Not convinced by your last sentence though :)

See, Overcooker and I are confused about your intentions as you explain them here: For me (and probably also Overcooker), chess is a game we play, at least in principle [Footnote], with the goal to be entertained and have fun (which can also come through improving at the game etc.), while you say that, at least for some opponents, your goal is to emotionally harm them („destroying their pleasure“, or proving to them that they are a „bad loser and player“, etc.)
[Footnote]: I say „in principle“ because in practice I may play chess for other reasons, for instance chess addiction or frustration after a loss, etc. (but this is not my desired motivation to play chess!)

I know that a single sentence is not enough to convince somebody. It is why I refer to my blog where I wrote a few thousand pages. I can't force anybody to read it (a few articles will already give a good idea) but I do make my conclusions if people don't (in the sense of they are not interested in the subject or me so I should not invest energy into it).

Could you link me to one of your articles you find most worthwhile to read? :D
What would you say does chess provide, in a positive sense, beside entertainment and fun? (I count the value added by competition and a desire to improve also to fun, because what is the point of competing if you don’t enjoy the competition?)
