What better approaches?
A better approach, I assume.

It seems to me, that different types of lie detections could be used for OTB tournaments or online chess tournaments.
Question the players (before & after) similar to an airport lie detection. Maybe even monitor the players during a chess tournament like using a web cam that's monitoring eye fluctuations.

What the hell is airport lie detection?!?

I know airport metal detection but never heard of lie detection there!

I'm busy right now, so I won't be answering any future quoted pinging posts. They did not answer my questions or give alternate solutions. The links are there in the posts, so let your imagination wonder. Like I did in post one.

I'm watching on tubiTV a movie called ; Yesterday Was a Lie
I like Drama · Sci-Fi · Thriller movies.

All I can say is: I hope it's cozy under that rock you're living under.

How many can you name from the top 50 gms?
or top 100?
Or how many of the active ones, which are 1315? so we can take a percentage of known cheater GMs

Well that's my point. You implied it's easy to detect cheating GMs, but in fact, at that level, it's much harder to detect cheaters. Of course Hans Niemann is a prominent top GM who was suspected of cheating, but no one knows whether he actually was or not.

The point is that the suggestion of heavy measures is to combat an almost non existent problem.
You can only single out a case of suspicion, not even a confirmed case, which exist, but are too few.

It is easier to detect in GM because they are very consistent. They play at about the same level always, and if the level changes, most likely is a drop in level, not a rise.

And when they rise, they dont actually go too high.

When there are heavy spikes of level, as in the Niemann case, they raise the suspicion. The algorithm notices it.
And if you successfully cheated via anal beads, in my book, you deserve to not been caught lol.

Whats next on top of eye detection? Anal probing?
