Lichess admins took down a post because i called out their weak cheat detection system

I will say it again since they took down another persons post, the Lichess cheat detection system is very weak, I reported a guy that was clearly cheating and their flags didn't catch him until like 3 days later after he already played over 40 games and I couldn't;t receive my refunded points.

Anyone who wants proof of this can DM me

But let me not let your limited reading comprehension skills get in the way of your perpetual one way hatred towards me

I mean maybe everyone wouldn't hate you if you didn't hate pretty much everyone on this site for no reason.

I couldn't care less who hates or likes me, all i want are points i unfairly lost to cheaters

if you hate me tell someone who cares.

I agree with you . Their cheat detection system has become horrible. It used to be a fairly good system ( not great) , where I would get weekly notifications that an opponent had cheated against me, and I would be given points for those games

Now, their cheat detection system doesn’t function at all , even when I know a player is cheating.

Online is not a place of fair chess play, because any computer system, server, engine, etc, can be hacked or compromised . The only way to get a fair game is to play OTB.

Players will smurf, use engines , stall, etc, just to win a game that doesn’t even count ...that’s the crazy thing. They are cheating and there is no real accomplishment for it .

It used to bother me a bit, but now I just use this platform to simply play and and to keep my game from getting rusty .

I couldn’t care less about online ratings anymore

So my suggestion to you is to not even worry about it, because you can’t control it .

Also Lichess uses Bots when there isn’t a live user to pair against another live user. Most online line chess playing platforms do this , but they will not admit it.

Btw, you can tell a player is cheating by their online/live indicator light . If it goes dark before every move , that means the person ‘s phone or computer is running an engine that is processing the move. So it is switching back and forth .

Even though a user is logged in, and is playing a game, if the user minimizes his screen , opens another app , or even answers the phone, lichess’ servers sees that as the user being inactive or has left the game . And after a minute or so , the server will award the game to the other user. So if you see your opponent’s live indicator light go dark during game play , that’s means they are no longer in the game ....now there could be network issues or computer issues to cause that , but if that light is constantly going dark before every move , then the opponent is using an engine app and is switching back and forth ...No way should a players live indicator light constantly go on and off throughout the whole game .

I picked up on that pattern recently

Just win some games and get the points back my dude. You're gonna reach the rating you're gonna reach anyway, so it's not like losing 10 points or whatever is the worst thing that can happen to you.

Funny how much some people rant about things they couldn't care less about.

The frequency with which someone comes with this absurd urban legend is also funny.

I never said such a thing and lichess already deleted my initial response so i'll just paraphrase

You have a one-sided hatred towards me and the people i said cheated actually cheated and were banned so try again.

Look all my game of the days (blitz 5+3). 100% cheaters, 95% this month.

Just i can't share video because the proov is not free. As from i find how get a legal cover i share lichess and chess.com on youtube.
and yes we can get IP adress of player on them site for spy people. It's like that i can tell "he cheats". Lichess/chess.com are so old for do anything or see anything. that stay game on navigator in 2010 years, never evolved.

I don't know how we can get IP but the people who installed that (it was for another site and because of more dark situation) has 9 years old at this period and yes it's always on there.

it's so happy to see people closed in this world, think "chess are so difficult for cheat" and trust without understand. Think than true in 1980 are still true in 2024 and insult when we don't go in same sens...

i wait still an answer for cheat more hundred games in streaming, without be banned (there is only the truewho injuried).

Today each game against cheaters.

I played friendly tournament between youtuber chess (no gain, no reward only simple members who pay suscribe for progress) => First day 6 cheaters, 2nd 5.

Half banned immediatly, 4 somes day after (somes ones with thousand game and some years old) and the last +2000 elo who win 8 games in 30s each without error, 100% accuracy and against GM/GMI.

but all it's normal.
I stay there because it's the alone free but as from there is a new website but with quality environment i leave Licheat
