Is chess by definition a loaded sport?

@greenteakitten i was referring to more towards discrimination and harassment in chess. Not sexual harassment.

Which post? Sorry, I'm not following - sexual harassment does happen, are you trying to say it doesn't or are you trying to say something else?

@greenteakitten no i was saying I wasn’t talking about sexual harassment.

@Wasted_Youth the entire blog was mostly about online chess. The very first paragraph is about how she’s reported 5 players in the last couple of months for harassment. That’s got nothing to do with her gender

^^ you said you weren't talking about sexual harassment yet this is about sexual harassment? Or am I missing something here?

@greenteakitten originaly it was only about harassment.

Ok so just to clarify, again, seeing as you are either a bit slow to understand, or you are being deliberately obtuse.

Two blogs have been published recently on Lichess that specifically concern sexism, sexual harassment, and sexual assault in OTB and online chess as the main themes.

  1. The Lichess blog "Breaking the Silence" was about Lichess cutting ties/cooperation with both the USCF and the STLCC in response to those two organisations' apparent lack of action/turning a blind eye after repeated, serious allegations of sexual assault by GMs on both women and underaged girls over several years. This was in an OTB setting.

  2. My blog "Breaking the Silence Online", which I wrote as a follow-up to the Lichess blog (and this is my own personal blog, not an official or officially endorsed Lichess blog) was about my own experience of online sexual harassment specifically on Lichess.
I did say about how I had "reported 5 players in the last couple of months for harassment." So I will just clarify here, it becomes apparent if you read the entire blog in context that I was talking about sexual harassment here, not just harassment. I deliberately worded it like that because it is a family-friendly site and I gave readers credit to have enough intelligence to understand what I meant by that.

There are other Lichess articles on similar topics, 5 cm of Hair: Iranian Chess in 2023 and Invisible Pieces: Women in Chess.

Calling someone "slow", and suggesting someone is taking their time, or being (possibly deliberately) slow to understand a particular point, are two different things entirely. Don't try to play the victim card here.
