Diffrence between a gm and 1500 rated chess player

No we are rating for a Grand Master to answer it. That 's what GM means.
Yeah but you aren't the first one to say in that manner.

Not quite or at least different as you might think.

I have played may GMs and analysed with them and they don’t think very different. They often say something like „looks good“, „should be winning“, or „not sure“.

A big surprise: they are aware of the complexity of chess and pretty cautious with definite assessments. Even more cautious than some noobs here^^

After 5-10 moves GM probably knows that his 1500 opponent has no clue about chess ^^

Oh I dont know if low rated players dont have a clue about chess - I play regularly in chess.com at the 900-1000 elo rating, and many players there play at very low centipawn loss even with a 900 elo rating.
For example I just lost in a 1 minute bullet game to 1 opponent in the 950s, he played at 30 centipawn loss in 20 moves and made only 1 mistake. Stronger players, even those higher than 2100+, have similar stats in their games. I've seen a 1000 elo in Live, 1500 in Daily, play a 68 move draw at under 10 centipawn loss.
So no much difference.

And it's not just me saying "no much difference", games are objectively analysed with an engine - engine analyses positions, and does not care opponent ratings - so if two games are 30 move long with a 20 centipawn loss, and one of them is from two 900 elo and the other is from two 2400 elo, the engine does give a damn about ratings. Only the 2400 egos will try to make excuses as to why their play is "much better" than the 900s, lol.

@i_use_engine_to_win

I don't think that is representative - for example two lower rated opponents will play safe passive lines and have good accuracy - but if you put one of them against GM - likely by 10 moves already GM will lead 1000 player into a challenging line where poor guy will, again likely, start playing inaccuracies and mistakes and it adds up. GM's at this point already see that the player does not know best moves and can predict they will deviate and lose in the next 5-10 moves. And ofc accuracy will suffer.

Basically don't hope to play high accuracy game vs GM - its like trying to find the way out of the jungle and avoid dying. As an example you can take the game on youtube of GM Hikaru vs Andrea Botez.. it was like 99% acc vs 16% (just guessing) or something. He just lead her into some subvariation of French defense I think that she completely misplayed.
