Did you come to lichess from chess.com?

I just closed my account there because their latest agreement on policy change was no a no, no to me.
Was there just on a few accounts previously and I dislike it.

edit: To be honest, you have more here and its way more privacy friendly provided you click no url's or watch videos unless you have google blockers (I call them a proxy google site btw) in Analyses, tools in fact all.
People should consider that also when there are bugs, it is open source > free. Instead try to solve that problem and contribute.

le plus gros problème sur licheat est la triche massive des joueurs. Justement c'est open source donc aucune clientèle à satisfaire.
Rien n'est fait pour contrer ce fléau. Ce problème ça serait bien de le résoudre.

Why would they want you to waive the ability to bring claims against chess.corn in court, to waive the ability to have any dispute heard by a judge or jury, and waive the ability to bring claims against chess.corn in a class action format?

Chess.corn make it seem that they want to not be held accountable for crimes they commit against you, as well as the crimes they have already committed with or without your knowledge.

Lichess; non-profit organization, unlimited puzzles, unlimited game analysis and more; yeah!!

When I realized that, I switched.

I got into chess a year ago and after a quick search i created an account on both. Despite I was already a big privacy conscious and open source supporter I kept using both until I installed the new Lichess app recently.
What annoyed me more in chessdotcom was not even the paywalls but how gamified the experience is: the awards, the leagues, game review, etc.

I also felt like there were a lot of cheaters on chess.com. I thought it was especially obvious at rapid time control. When I expressed frustration with the moderators I got a "maybe you should go play somewhere else" vibe from their response. So I did. I also like the premove function on lichess better. I detested running out of time while I am premoving.

I used to use chess.com but switched because of chess.com's limits on puzzles, lessons, etc. which was frustrating for me since I felt it was impeding my learning. I have an account but don't really use it anymore.

It's just better here, google algorithm sends people there > where pay walls are. And big brother watches your every move..
