chess.com vs lichess what do u prefer?

Lichess because everything is free.

Lichess because everything is free.

I would prefer Lichess by a long shot. There are some instances where I would go to chess.com for Puzzle Rush. I think Puzzle Rush is an excellent way to improve your skill of solving puzzles. It would be a great edition to Lichess, but I think they would have to worry about copyright and trademarks and all that stuff. I also like the multiple premoves on chess.com.

But Lichess is free, ad-free, and a really good platform. It has dedicated servers for games, tournaments, and studies, which I like to use to study openings/endgames, though I am annoyed by the 64 chapter limit.

Short answer: I prefer Lichess to chess.com anyday.
