They are just very different... for different needs etc

  1. You have to pay for everything on chess.com (puzzles, openings etc)
  2. People play chess more seriously there no takebacks and all
  3. There are a lot of Swiss tournaments on chess.com
  4. Larger pool of player on chess.com however there are a lot of strong players on both sites.

    I used to play on chess.com but i prefer lichess now its just a easier platform to access and play on.

I prefer lichess because it is clean and simple, it avoids annoying ads, and also uses less bandwidth, there is less chance of lagging, but chess.com is not that good cause most of times it says we have to pay get premium membership, creating tournaments is not free...etc but lichess, everything is free, they provide all free, even for patreons, absolutely free, they keep no difference between the patreons and non-patreons. I am just happy with lichess. There is more I can say about lichess but I am scared that I will not stop writing at all.

Chess.com because it supports DGT electronic chess boards. I don't get why LiChess is so reluctant to do the same..
