It's nothing to do with which site is better! Rather, it is just for playing chess. Both sites have the same thing - chess!
If you like to play chess a lot, then you need not leave any chess site be it lichess or chess.com.
I play on lichess more since my account here has flourished more than at chess.com and I play chess there as well when I like. It doesn't mean that I leave chess.com. Even I have friends there with whom I play on chess.com.
Play with your friends wherever you want but don't leave any chess site. Enjoy!
