Chess.com or lichess?

I think that lichess is the best chess site out there, and chess.com is out there to steal your money. lichess is sacrificing the ability to make a huge profit, just so its users can have fun for free. But recently, my friend started playing on chess.com. He3 wants me to play with him and to leave lichess. Which is better?

Lichess, of course!

I only play on chess.com when Lichess is down for maintenance. Chess.com has too many cheaters and their interface sux. Lichess has better tourneys.
The last bullet tourney I played on Chess dot com had a 2100 winning with a 1300 and 1100 2nd and third. I was rated 1900 at the time.

I think you need a new friend.

I enjoy lichess for games, but chess.com has better puzzles and it just looks better.

Why do you have to leave lichess to play with your friend on chess.com?

I use both sites and each have their pros and cons (and their share of cheaters).

Chess.com has a better app. But overall playing on lichess is significantly better. The analysis on lichess is the very best there is. Chess.com puzzles are nothing but hunt the king.

And worst of all if you dont pay chess.com is terrible terrible add attack. Without a paid subscription it looks like ones of those click bait pages where adds are everywhere and end up freezing the page.

They do have GM Hess who is an awesome commentatory and Daniel Rench/Hikaru are fun, twitch integration is nice. So there are some plusses.

@Grecchi80 , there are a few cheaters in any website but it is negligible to your rating because there is rating refund in all website.
