Well actually, I am just providing statistics. So I can be ofcourse wrong. I am playing after exf4 d5, so I dont know a lot about it. If im wrong, just correct me. I also think, that you should play classical, but then again, if you are playing for fun, then go ahead and play your format. I would love to play chess with you! Just not KG- 2.Nf3.d6.?.

FIDE rules 2017^^
6.5
Where a match is over a specific number of games, those played after one player has won shall not be rated.
PS: I stand corrected: it has changed 2018 to "6.5
Where a match is over a specific number of games, those played after one player has won shall not be rated, if the match was scheduled for more than 8 games."
Everything all right - good game!

I read a bit about King's gambit, also played some rapid games myself and both moves seem to be good. Developing bishop with 3. Bc4 is more tactical, modernist approach to me, while Nf3 is more classical. It's a matter of taste which move you play, the final scores are similar.

So the point of this match was to find out wich was better, 3Nf3 or 3Bc4.
3.Nf3 won all games and 3.Bc4 lost all games. Although there is a reasonable rating gap betweer TPR and me, and me being somewhat of an expert in this opening (I play it at every opportunity) I guess we can still say 3.Nf3 is the better move.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post!
