Hi folks, as we had a big discussion on the forum a couple of days ago about the kings gambit. TPR thinks 3Bc4 is the best move and I think 3Nf3 is the best. We decided to play a match. The match consists of 4 games (each player plays his variant 2 times). I wanted to make a post on the forum earlier so we might get some spectators but due to unmatching availlabilities we couldnt agree on a time. Luckely today TPR was availlable after lunch (and I was awake). So we played the 1st game of our match.

Are we supposed to take this seriously? The time control is bad. 15+10? That is nothing. You should have played classical ( 90+30 i would suggest.) .
+ if you have a discussion in KG, at least you should have both learned theory. Like come on!
Nothing is serious about this match lol. We are 2 decently rated players settling a dispute. I guess some people just like it because its such a dynamic opening wich isnt seen much at the higher levels. Last time we had a couple of spectators, so obviously there is some interest in this match.
