It doesn't need to be with the rm command, but just write a command inside the db, like: "db.user.delete({})" (mongodb) or the famous: "delete without WHERE" (SQL)

Hey guys !
Good job on the recovery !
I've got that bug where I can't invite people in my studies, since the database crash. Any idea why ? And can I work around it ?
I didn't lose the 34 elo I gained yesterday so I'm happy :)
Thank God I did not play anything that time.
Think you should make some BOT Have Import ALL games not just Correspondence, and it can show rating diffs and mostly everything done in the game.
Also making a updating blog on the same BOT account having everything done ever on Lichess like Accounts, Forums, Teams, etc
Make sure it does not show passwords.
All of this inside lichess may cause lag tho so I don't need you to do this just a suggestion
You need to reconcile the data from two sources: "Activity" and "Games", where as Games histroty are lost in "Games section", however they are still kept in "Activity" section, but final rating is done from "Games" section and not from "Activity". So you need to fix this in favor of players and not against of them.
during this time I defeated magnus 10 times, what a pity it didnt get saved
Thanks you thibault
Thank you
@thibault this incident just showed how all humans can make mistakes and how YOU MUST HAVE A BACKUP. Thanks again to
@thibault, all the devs and all the mods.
The fix was fast with minimal loss and the lichess team was very responsible and open about their mistake.
