I feel his pain. Even though I know it's drawn some part of me wishes there was a way to win. He probably should've just tried to flag you since he can make basically any move whereas you need to check him. He got close since at the end you blundered and I assume misclicked the rook 1 square too far but he didn't see the mate in his last 2 seconds
