Please define socialism for me and explain how it works

we are the wealth creators , we the working class , but we are poor , this unfairness is wrong , but this is why capitalism is wrong and why im a socialist

its a good job , i like it , the company treat me fairly and i am happy to work with them until i retire , i do manual work i like manual work , but here alot of contracts are what is called by workers part time , but the bills are full time , and the bills rise all the time whereas the wage does not
yes it is a struggle but not the harshest ive encountered add to that i thrive in adversity becoming strong mentally , and even at times physically ,,
i feel good in what i offer society , but i wish society would offer me enough so i can move on from struggling financially to saving for things that make life worthwile

That's what capitalism is supposed to accomplish. If you do an amount of service for someone, somebody else must do an equal amount of service for you.

I've heard "from each according to ability. From each according to need" a hundred million times, so please explain the function.

1. who is in charge of handing out what is needed? And how are they stopped from being unfair?

2. how can it be proven whether or not a man is giving to the best of his ability?

3. If a man is thought to be lazy, do you still give him what he needs? What do you do with regards to people like these? (There will be a lot of them. Trust me)

4. How much are college students expected to work? And how do you avoid people pretending to go to college to avoid work?

5. What motive does a person have to work a more difficult or dangerous job?

6. Is there still private property? Who gets access to rare unique items?

7. How does R&D get funding?

8. How do you avoid moral hazard in business practices?

9. If you want to start a business, how do you acquire materials?

10. Who gets to live in the nice houses and apartments? If I build a giant mansion, can I live in it?

11. How do you acquire something that you don't technically need, but would like to have? Most of our money is not spent on needs.

There are more questions, but those are the short of things I would like to know.
