How many assassination attempts needed before Democrats stop fearmongering?

@Noflaps said in #20:

And as a civilization we can't just keep ignoring the REAL questions of the sort I asked in #14 by saying, in essence, over and over, "orange man bad."
Is that the same "orange man" who questioned the black man's birth certificate?

Constantly attacking politicians PERSONALLY doesn't answer real-world, difficult questions. It is just politics as has become usual.
True, it doesn't. But looking at American presidential election rhetorics, this doesn't seem to be the issue.

Trump's rhetoric calls attention to REAL PROBLEMS that have to be dealt with by local and state governments
I disagree. He speaks as if he is fustrated about something. Which is not how a leader leads.
He is just catering to the masses.
ASK some of Democrat mayors of some American towns and cities if they are facing real, new challenges over the last three and a half years.
Look, if you don't want to debate, just say so.
But don't ask me to look for evidence to back up your point of view. Provide them yourself.

Lost pets are NOT THE POINT, either of my posts or of Trump's rhetoric. Talking repeatedly about "pets" doesn't really respond to the REAL questions I asked in #14. It just sidesteps those questions.
My post was mainly about #10 & #12.
When I quoted you in #14, it was a drawback to your post #12. (#12 was why I wanted to respond in the first place)
By the way, lost pets was your talking point in #10.

There are REAL CHALLENGES when a town or city has to deal with proportionally very large, unplanned population growth. And I mentioned some in #14. But it's hard to get anybody to discuss THOSE.
Perhaps if you had mentioned those in #10 or #12 I would have taking more interest in it.

Now it is true. For any community, around the world, receiving immigration (legal or otherwise) without a plan is a challenge.
But still a challenge the USA can endure, without having to resort to political rhetorical disinformation that alienate people.
Unless of course they use their rhetorics mainly to win votes.

Wow, the guy who's literally quoting Hitler is telling everyone to stop attacking him? Even though he's the biggest shit talker and liar that American politics has ever seen? And a guy who's already incited several attempted assassinations?

All I have to say about this thread is go hang out with MAGA republicans. They indoctrinate their children into believing being a democrat is one of the worst things you can be, using it as a slur: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYOKZelFhZ4

There's several examples of this, and i've seen it with my own eyes with my republican friends. I've lived in majority democrat cities my entire life, and i've NEVER seen this behavior in democrat or sane republican households.

Ultimately, people calling for Democrats to stop their messaging (which is not fearmongering, it's literally just pointing out the horrible shit Trump has spoken) know that they're trolling, because they have nothing left policy wise to actually argue. Trump spews bullshit about his opponents being "Communist Marxist Fascist" (a literal quote, though he certainly couldn't define one of those words properly). Trump literally says he wants to be a dictator and that you'll never vote again if he's elected, and if democrats point this out of course they're the evil ones...

Is it possible, @Katzenschinken , that at least ONE pet MIGHT have disappeared? Is that remotely possible? Have you actually checked in depth? Or was the early "reporting" in response to Trump's mention of the alleged situation all we might ever need to hear, and utterly nonpartisan?

You can find reputable news sites by searching for them.
You can find bias of news sites by searching for it.
You can find fact checkers by searching for them.

Don't just rely on one site.

If you are on a platform with a mouse and a mouse pointer on the screen, hoover the pointer over the link, it shows where it goes.
You can copy the link and paste it in a text editor to look at it.

If anyone make suspicious of my links, then that person are accusing me of criminal activity.
Also that person want you to remain uninformed and easily manipulated.
