@Tae7 my other account was shadow banned and I emailed lichess a little after a year later they said all is fine if I don't do it again, so I'd say about a year.
@Savage_Cactus It doesn't have to be that long though- one person I knew was chatbanned for a month
@kertandidi Thing is there's nothing that can be done about it unless he decides to make an appeal.
@Tae7 if your friend got chatbanned then you can always feel free to appeal to lichess or rather him appeal to lichess to get himself unbanned. I once too got form banned but I appeal and I think after one month or so I got unbanned :)
