@agnivo2008. darkness can exist without light. Light cannot exist without darkness.
In other words. The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Closing your account and creating a new one to evade it should not be done and will result in being pretty much permanently chatbanned. Maybe reopen the account and use lichess.org/appeal or wait it out.

My friend feels that the ban was unjustified and is not willing to appeal so I guess there’s nothing I can do now. Sigh....

Kind of a contradiction in it of itself... if you feel like a ban is unjustified, then the thing you should be most amped up about is appealing it :P

@TCF_Namelecc #28 Exactly! I completely agree. That’s what I’ve been trying to get across to him but I guess he is upset and disappointed that he was banned for speaking up about something that he is passionate about and doesn’t feel like coming up with an explanation.
A general question - Am I right to assume that being shadow banned basically equals to IP banned so that unless the user makes an appeal, he would not be allowed to post ever again in any lichess forums.
