For All who say Lichess Is Propaganda

So first, Dislike if ya want to. Lichess had memtioned in it's blog that Lichess will not comment in the war situation. As you all might know. Ukraine wants to join NATO (but now they have lost interest.), But Russia tried to join NATO but was not welcomed by some countries (I won't mention there names).

And if Ukrain joins NATO then Russia will be surrounded by countries who are in NATO. Russia worries that all these NATO countries might team up and invade Russia.

So if you ask me Russia is basically trying to defend itself (This sentence doesn't mean mean I agree with what Russia is doing).

But the thing I want is peace. But the thing now is Ukraine doesn't have interest to join NATO Russia can leave them alone. But now Russia has a new aim, not to defend themselves but to take over Ukrain again.

I say that Russia should stop. And also some lichessers that think lichess doesn't take action in these threads and stuff. I personally love both Russia and Ukraine. They have there good as well as bad points.

Go to the world map. Look at Russia-China border. Then look on Russia-Kazahstan border. Then look on Russia-Finland border. Then rethink about "surrounded".

It seems to me like you've been reading a bit too much biased information. In the interest of fact checking:
a) Russia never made an official attempt to join NATO. This is a matter of public record. The claim that Russia tried to join is a piece of propaganda that is often used by internet trolls to garner sympathy for Russia.
b) I have not heard anything about Ukraine losing interest. If anything, Russia has forced Ukraine to try to join NATO, in order to protect Ukraine from Russia.
c) Russia will not be surrounded by countries in NATO. This is another piece of propaganda being spread by pro-Russian trolls.
Most of Russia is in Asia. The only NATO state in Asia is Turkey.
d) Ukraine, and Ukraine alone, is allowed to dictate Ukrainian policy.
e) Russia is the aggressor in the conflict. There is no fighting on Russian soil. An invasion is a purely offensive action.

Your opinion as well. Dude if the neighbour stay in his hood, no issue here. When the neighbour is invading the hood of others, those for whom it's their hood might take it not too well. With your trivial logic Poland would have been justified to invade Ukrain 'cause right now Putin's is getting f***kin closer to Poland than a couple of months ago. You seem to be trying to argue with facts. Let's address your arguments one-by-one.

a). In which clousems points out that Russia has never applied to join NATO, and you respond by begging the question.

As I said, this is a matter of public record. Disputing this means that at least one of the following must be true:
a) You have travelled from a future timeline in which Russia attempted to join NATO but was rebuffed
b) You don't care about the truth, and you prefer to spread pro-Russian propaganda
c) You're a complete moron
d) You live in denial

b). In which I point out that Ukraine has been driven into the arms of NATO, and you respond by blaming the Donbas insurgency on Ukraine's ties with NATO

I have no doubt that Ukraine's ties with NATO helped lead to Russia's funding of insurgents in Doneck and Luhansk. I also have no doubt that your response has nothing to do with my statement. I'm also not entirely sure why you brought that up, because it kinda strengthens my point.

c). In which you claim that geography is my "opinion"
Please buy a dictionary. Or an atlas. Or a map. Russia's southern border consists of non-NATO Kazakhstan, non-NATO Mongolia, and very non-NATO China.

My upstairs neighbor has obnoxiously loud Friday night encounters with women. I find this unwelcome. However, I also know that I have no right to prevent him from doing legal activities in his apartment. I have never considered killing him for being annoying. Because I'm not a fucking psycho.

Ukraine does want to join NATO, and EU.

Russia is using the pretense of NATO borders to attack Ukraine. It didn't bother Russia before, so why now?

You don't defend yourself by attacking a nation that means you no harm. That's a pathetic excuse.

Russia was "forced" to invade the Ukraine in exactly the same way Germany was " forced " to invade Poland in 1939. Oh and let's not forget Russia ( the Soviet Union ) invaded the other half of Poland in a deal made with Hitler.

Russian troops are inside of the Ukraine , bombing , shelling and shooting in the cities of the Ukraine.
These are facts , saying " your opinion " is just sticking your fingers in your ears , closing your eyes and holding your breath until you turn blue because you have no argument against this.

And lets nail this down right now :

If Russia uses Gas ( or god forbid a Nuke ) in one of it's attacks on the Ukraine will you condemn it or try to justify it ?

I just can't picture Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine getting together and invading Russia.
And NATO was formed for only one reason: to contain Russian expansionist behaviour. Ludicrous to suggest Russia would join , even if they were sent a gold-engraved invitation and the promise of cake.
