no, I am not, but if they said that 8/2 goes before 2(2+2) then yes, I am saying that

Any search engine or programming language is going to interpret that to be 16, granted you'll probably need to use an asterisk to signify the multiplication when programming/scripting. There's little ambiguity about the forward slash being synonymous to a division symbol, and on a single line it's read left-to-right and following order of operations.

Insisting forward slash is equivalent to use of the word "over" (or proper typesetting) goes against widely accepted convention.

To an extent, take your pick on whether you solve between parentheses first or last in this case. So long as they're resolved separate from the rest of the equation.

8÷2×(2+2) can be rewritten as 4×4, or you could 4×(2+2) and then distribute the 4, so (4×2 + 4×2) = (8+8). You're getting 16 either way.

Wait no, it's only 1 if the / is a fraction bar or something...

1? Its bodmas?

Heres how i did it-

I divided three americas with the radius i saw. So 4x6% of 100/29(39+8)[92+(19-9)56] and I get 1 kg out of that. Meaning that if i remove "kg" rom 1kg, its would gimme the right answer!🤯

8/2(2+2) = 8/2(4) = 8/24 = 44 = 16. Since 2(4) is not in parentheses itself, it just becomes 2*4.

Even the calculators agree. This problem stumped a significant part of the internet, so don't worry if you're confused.
