In chrome, when you press F12, the debug tools appear. Then click the "Show console" icon at the bottom left.
Now reload lichess and look for messages in this console. Please paste them here.

Also it will help me diagnose the issue if you answer these questions:

• go on this site: http://www.funnode.com/chess. Do you see the message "Connected to server" at the top?

• go on this site: http://www.websocket.org/echo.html and click the "Connect" button. Is it working?

• tell me about your network. Is it a private home router? Are you in a universy or cyber or something?

• I opened the Chrome console and refreshed the page, but the console remains empty.

• Trying http://www.funnode.com/chess I get "Connecting to Server.." and finally "Unable to communicate with Server. Try refreshing the page."

• On http://www.websocket.org/echo.html after pressing the "Connect" button I see "CONNECTED" in the log.

• I'm on a home network with a wireless router.

I tried opening this site in Firefox and in its web console I see the line "[07:54:53.779] GET http://socket.en.lichess.org/lobby/socket?sri=i0li1ght8&version=5633 [HTTP/1.1 101 Switching Protocols 356ms]" repeated every few seconds.

MaNishma: one more test. Please return to http://www.websocket.org/echo.html and change the value of the location field (by default it's ws://echo.websocket.org).

Set it to: ws://socket.en.lichess.org/lobby/socket?sri=d5cd6abofajor&version=9414 and see if it connects.

Then set it to: ws://en.lichess.org:9004/lobby/socket?sri=d5cd6abofajor&version=9414 and see if it connects.

Also, are you certain the line in the firefox console is always exactly the same? It should be trying theses 2 different urls.

Ребята, у меня тоже были проблемы с сайтом, я устанавливал гугл хром с файла установки скачанного с торента, он почему то не обновлялся на новую версию , функция была заблокирована, но как только я установил гугл хром с интернета, все проблемы исчезли! Я установил его отсюда https://www.google.com/intl/ru/chrome/browser/

@Norb: I just re-installed Google Chrome from that link - The underlying problem is not with the browser; We just have to wait until Thibault fixes the connection error.

Я не заметил что здесь идет речь только о проблеме соединения, переподключение у всех, я имел ввиду проблемы с анализом партий, или например если проблемы с входом в профиль, а еще я не мог создавать партии и присоединяться к созданным,
