Exactly, that's what my blog says.
So you gave away the answer. Lol. Half of the people voting for classical don't even play it.

5 classical games are better than 5 Blitz games. But what about 50 Blitz games in the same time?

I don't know about others, but in my case, I feel I learn nothing from blitz games. With classical games, I can usually review the games afterwards (with the annotation sheet), and this helps to identify and analyze errors. So for me, 1 classical game is better than 1,000 blitz games.

Except in one particular regard: Opening practice. If I want to practice and develop my opening repertoire quickly, blitz games enable doing that quickly.

In my opinion, classical is better than blitz/ bullet because it helps you think about your weaknesses, your opponents resources. It helps you think more about your moves. I don't usually play classical a lot but it's better.

I learn really much from my Blitz games. And in the same time I play more Blitz than Rapid.

I do learn from Both CLASSICAL and BLITZ games, but according to me Classical is better.
The point is that we can analyze the games on the spot with more time...

You are already better than 99% of us! Did you reach cm by only playing blitz? If so, then all those stronger players lied to me.
I am not aiming for a title I just play classic because it is more fun.

I learned new openings which were very valuable for me by means of many Blitz games. Of course I had to look them up and learn from them.

@Sarg0n might have played in classical in OTB tournaments... although he didn't play CLASSICAL on Lichess according to his account...
