Nobody wants to play a rematch. Why???
They should? Why?
Because they scared
I'd rather analyse my game while it's still fresh. That's why most of the times I don't accept rematch requests.
Can't believe I got a thumb down, I guess thats somebody who doesn't accept rematches.
why you spend time on wondering why other people do or do not do something. In short they do not want to and that is their business

Most players know about the touch rule and see rematches in the same way. For me the rematch offer sounds like a request to take back the moves and have a second chance. When we do not know the player, rematches typically will make me unhappy, and regretting to have accepted it. I find it best to not accept a rematch from a stranger. For others they may feel they won decisively, so no rematch. There is no rule or obligation to play a rematch. The game is over when the game ends. Don't play twice with the same player, when there are others waiting in line to play.
Comparing our ELO, if I was ever able to win a game, I wouldn't rematch, because I could say to my friends that I have beaten a 2000 without the shame to add that I was demolished in a revenge game just after lolll.
As a matter of fact, I still don't know how can someone ask for a rematch. Maybe it happened and I didn't notice it.
Because I like playing a new opponent every time. New experience. Unless they are a friend or something.
