why many players are not polite ?

Robert Fischer said he didn't like chess players. He saw a lot of envy, a lot of egocentrism among them. I think he looked like that himself. On the contrary, artists, musicians were nice people according to the 11th world champion.

Wow, so being silent is now considered rude?
How toxic has society become?

You never know if a player is using a DGT smart board to play Chess online or the square off one with the moving pieces not even looking at their monitor just engaged in the games.
Not all understand English, actually in many countries, it is considered disrespectful and uneducated to expect someone to speak a language
plus i tried playing with the mobile app a year ago and it is horrible, zen mode ...
When I play on my phone I don't even see the chat box unless I turn my screen sideways and then the board is impossibly small.

It's a very similar matter. They could be little kids who have been taught by us not to engage in conversations with strangers on the internet, They could be playing mobile (which as we all know is basically permanent zen mode), They could be using DGT boards so their attention isn't even on the monitor, or they could simply just not take notice of this action.

I'm a believer in karma, so i just naturally say "Hello" and "Good Luck" and play the game. I don't expect them to reply so I simply just wish them luck knowing that it's the polite thing to do.
I don't want to say hi or hello because I want to play professionally with full strength....some players take pride on his game and style of their play

That's another reason
