I think its not frustrated to lose a game,
It is to get into a lost position without knowing why,
like being outplayed but not sure which move, turn,
I mean with no obvious blunder, facing some accumulation advantage or strategical thing, whereas its against an engine or strong opponent.
Its when u dont see the board, maybe see some pieces
half the board but not the entire board, not sure
specially in opposite wings games, queenside versus kingside
attacks where a turn is paramount etc.

Losing the initiative is almost worst than losing the game,
sometimes, because initiative its so hard to pull..

Alpha Zero doesn't get visibly frustrated when it loses. It just keeps on playing and learning, playing and learning.
We could learn a lot from AZ. Stockfish, OTOH, learns nothing from its' losses. (:-). (:-)

Well, they are machines, not humans, they can't feel like a human, they are programed for that, but we're not machines, we feel, we have feelings, they don't learn, they just do what they have to do, play as well as they are programed, they can't do or think like the opponent, or initiatives... But, I understand what you want to mean...
