Every chess playing site has engine users join, and they all try to ban them. The problem is how to restrict them, and arenas here do have the "minimum requirements" to join.
chess.com has "daily" chess. This site calls it Correspondence but I don't think it is nearly played as much here, and there are not team matches in daily chess. I reckon that there are lot more engine users in daily chess, and certainly many "part-time" engine users there (who are more difficult to detect) than in regular live chess. However you could say that isn't a fault of the site itself.
I find this site is generally better for playing chess variants (other than 960) particularly at slower speeds. Having said that I have found that both sites are rather "obsessed" with high-speed chess and don't offer enough for rapid players and increment fans.
