So many smart chess people don't know a troll thread when they see one.. tsk
OP is very happy for everyone who expressed their outrage.

I am still learning about lichess, nice site, but do mods really allow this kind of thread to exist and thrive,
sort of a pity. Come to a chess site to flame the game..is just wicked trolling, but unfortunately successful.

@Ally_8 To be fair, chess can make me rage sometimes, and sometimes I do feel like I hate it and it hates me back. But I chose an over-the-top, joking way to express it, which most people seemed to either miss or ignore.

Thinking that chess "hates you back" is a sort of magical thinking, and unfounded in reality. I get it that's your "feels", but as alway,s a person's "feels" is really their own problem. Rather than inflict it on others, seeking professional help would be a more respectful option, if you actually do have respect for others who disagree with/not interested in your rage.

I even regret responding to a troll's thread myself, as trolls are never interested in
solving anything genuinely. Can someone tell me if it's possible to block threads by certain posters who come here
just to stir the pot? It really is an eye stain, and pathetic that mods let this crap fly.

@Ally_8 Just block him and move on. If the mods took action on everything, then everyone would complain about censorship. The moderation is pretty good now. Is it hate speech against anyone? No. This is the kind of stuff that is discouraged, but not banned. And no, I didn't fall for it. Check my first comment on this thread. @TfXD
