What's wrong with 1. e4 e5 ?

In a game I played recently, I was playing white and started with e4. My opponent replied with e5. In the computer analysis, Stockfish marked e5 as an inaccuracy giving +0.6 advantage to white. I cannot understand what's so wrong with the e5 move. Please clear my doubt. Thanks.

hey that is because it allows white to play many gambits and attacking openings which is an enough advantage for a good player

There is nothing wrong as such in playing e4 - e5 but the fact is that after maybe Nf3 white has to play a move that defends the pawn and can't play a move which gains an initiative for itself.

I think i know why.On e4 e5 Black does have some winning percentage but c5 has much better Win percentage

It's just a matter of space and tempo... That's why at the master level black is playing to draw and white's playing to win.

If you view e4 e5 as inaccurate - how do you judge the french? ;-)

Sicilian opening is best and playing the rest (other openings) is kinda mistake
