What's up with players who use classical time control but play very quickly?

I like to play 30+20 games but most of my opponents barely use any of their time, some even finish games with more time than they started with!

I'm genuinely curious why they choose to play classical games when they play so quickly. What's the point?

If we play a classical game it playz for 30 mins yeh but we takes 30 mins to complete a game

there is no point. people are just stupid.

I just finished a game where my opponent finished with 40+minutes on the clock, its just bizarre.

agree , people play like bullet in rapid , maybe becoz to get their rapid/classical rating non-provisional ?

I checked his profile and he plays nearly exclusively classical.

I also play quickly in classical games but when I need to think I even spend 15 minutes on 1 move.

Some people play classical so they do not have to worry about the clock. Then they play too fast as they play impulsively.
