what's the average difference between the lychess elo and the elo fide in a player?

i have a difference of more than 200 points between one elo and the other for example
There is a huge difference to otb chess, that’s why it’s called lychess^^
@jaqueatumadre

this is what a lichess mod told me

It makes no sense to compare the systems, they are different. It's like comparing apples to bananas, both can be green and yellow, but they are still different.
And it does make sense.

But if you really want to know, please check this out
chessgoals.com/rating-comparison/
A lot of people have done surveys but they are all fatally flawed.

They compare current ratings at one thing with old OTB ratings in people who haven't played in years.

Online accounts are anonymous so they rely on people accurately reporting their rating.

All the graphs indicate tons of variability.

Likely the people who have played OTB are not the same as people who don't. The people who've done it are on the average more interested, more prepared, etc.

Spending 5 hours playing 50 blitz games over a week, is really not the same thing as playing one five hour game where a single blunder can decide the outcome.
hahaha, was it even an hour before this question comes up again>?

Instead of the typical answer of it's like comparing apples to oranges because they are too different populations of players I'll give just a summary comparing Lichess vs Chess.com in blitz time controls.

At the lowest rating levels, Lichess can be 200-300 points higher than Chess.com. But as the ratings rise they become closer.

So at 2200 they actually converge and at even higher ratings, chess.com would be a little higher rated.
